A workshop on “Journey through the Solar System” was conducted at Nehru Planetarium on Thursday, 13 February 2020. The motivational speaker was the Director of Nehru Planetarium Dr.Rathnasree. It was attended by the facilitator Ms. Hina Suri along with ten students of Grade IV and V. The session was especially designed for the young learners keeping their interest in mind. During the workshop the students were engaged in the sky discussion. Planets of the solar system were shown and fun facts on the same were discussed. Demonstration on the different phases of moon was also shown to the students. They performed hands on activities like making of planets on the pots. This was truly an onset to build up young scientists in all. Overall, it was a fruitful session and students enjoyed a lot.
