Maxfort School Rohini nurtures the creative potential of the learners giving them ample space to polish their talent and groom their all-round personalities. The school organised the magnum opus of creativity and caliber, “Max Fusion Fiesta” on Saturday, 2 December 2023. It was a symphony of ingenuity and inventiveness replenishing everyone with the fusion of amazing art forms, splendid sports and exuberant entrepreneurship presented by the students of Classes IX and XI.
The Chief Guest for the day was the renowned Kathak dancer of international fame, Ms. Sangeeta Majumder. The programme started with the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony. Afterwards, an exuberant prayer dance was presented by the talented dancers. It was a vibrant tribute to Maa Durga.
Respected Principal ma’am, Dr. Ratna Chakravarty welcomed the Chief Guest and other dignitaries. Honourable ma’am appreciated the efforts of the talented Maxfortians. She highlighted the significance of performing arts, sports and entrepreneurship in the life of young students. Performing arts and sports channelizes the energies of students to concentrate, focus and perform better in their life. And Entrepreneurship envisions job creators in a new world with infinite possibilities of economic growth and nation-building.
The skillful artists mesmerised the audience with the motivational dance, welcome song and Incredible India musical performance. The graceful Chief Guest infused the gathering with her aura and optimism. She defined success as a tapestry woven with grit, determination and passion. This inspired the performers to pursue their dreams with the newly coined definition of success. The accomplished vocalists added hues to the serene evening with gazal and thumri performance.
The icing on the cake was the Indradhanush dance performance wherein the magnificent dancers presented the exemplary dance forms Bharatnatyam, Kathak, Odissi, Kuchipudi, Mohiniyattam, Manipuri and Kathakali. It was a breath-taking classical wonder and voyage across our motherland India through the language of dance. Taking a turn for the innovative instinct, the worthy assemblage visited the Entrepreneurship Exhibition of the current innovators and future job-creators. Building up the crescendo of musical excellence, the highly enthusiastic orchestra was presented by the starry performers.
The agile and athletic Maxfortians left the audience spellbound with their magnetizing presentations of Yoga with Hanuman Chalisa, Zumba and Pyramid Formation. The grand-finale was the perfect culmination of the students’ tireless and sincere efforts. The event was formally concluded with vote of thanks presented by the School Vice Head Girl Navya Kashyap expressing gratitude to honorable Principal ma’am, revered Chief Guest, parents and all other collaborators for their commitment and co-operation for making the event a grand success.
