“Science is a way of thinking much more than it is a body of knowledge.”
Maxfort School, Rohini believes that the holistic development is only achievable with the pragmatic approach to education. Pragmatic approach imparts learning by doing and experiencing things.
Adhering to the same, Science Exhibition was held on Friday, 9 August 2019 wherein the students showcased static and working models that can be used for learning various scientific concepts for students of the age group 13-18 years. It involved participation of the students with inquisitiveness to understand the cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects of the task.
Students had made working and non working models. These were supplemented with charts and project files to present their topics. Our respected Principal ma’am, Dr Ratna Chakravarty, who herself is an expert of the subject and possesses great command on the theories of Science, took the initiative of encouraging the students with her Science faculty to put up such a wonderful and enlightening exhibition.
