Diwali is an occasion to celebrate victory over defeat, light over darkness, awareness over ignorance, an occasion to celebrate life. When the diyas are alighted their glow illuminates even the darkest of nights which signifies the enlightenment of soul and the triumph of good over evil. It is about overcoming the darkness of ignorance and propagating the light of knowledge. Creating an atmosphere of festivity around, Maxfort School, Rohini celebrated this auspicious day on Friday, 25 October, 2019 in the school premises. The merriment and bliss was organized by Classes V and XII in the form of special assemblies. The happy faces of children added to the delight of this wonderful time. The occasion was initiated by offering prayers to the almighty. The icing on the cake was the thought-provoking Nukkar Natak presentation by the young artisans. Everyone tip tapped their feet on a soul stirring dance. Speech presentation by Ms. Alpa Sharma added to the goods. This was followed by the traditional lighting of the lamp by respected Principal ma’am Dr. Ratna Chakravarty. Principal ma’am gave her best wishes to students and motivated them to channelize their energy into right direction. Skit, dance and music created a delightful treat for everyone. The creative extravaganza pervaded the unique message of corruption and traffic jam on this auspicious occasion. All the participants rocked the show with the blend of cosmic tune and divine vision. Taking the lead forward, the school management and respected principal ma’am extended their wishes to the staff. May the festival of lights be the harbinger of joy and prosperity!
