Dental Hygiene is an important part of keeping one’s body healthy. Keeping this in mind, a workshop was organised at Maxfort School, Rohini for the students of Grade III – V on Friday, 3 February 2023 on the topic ‘Dental Hygiene’.
Dr. Amarjeet Saini , the Ex Dental Surgeon , Jaipur Golden Hospital conducted the workshop. The session began with the headlining basic information about how to brush and floss, what should be eaten to keep teeth healthy and importance of regular dental attendance. In addition to that, Dr. Amarjeet apprised the students about functions of teeth – biological and social, structure of a tooth, role of sugar in causing tooth decay, role of plaque and using the correct fluoride toothpaste.
The emphasis was laid on recognising the signs and symptoms of gum disease.
This interactive class-based dental hygiene workshop was successful in motivating the students to carry out effective oral health practices.
