CELEBRATED TEACHERS’ DAY ON 5 SEPTEMBER 2019

A teacher is not someone solely confined to the four walls of a classroom. A teacher is the emblem of wisdom, experiences, kindness, discipline and compassion. Teachers mentor their students with the purest intention of seeing them spread their wings and fly to the sky. The Teacher’s Day celebration was held on Thursday, 5 September 2019 as a mark of accolade to the part played by the teachers in the society and to pay tribute to the greatest mentor Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan who was a great advocate of edification, and was the distinguished envoy, academician and India’s former President. The day commenced with special morning assemblies that brought the students and their teachers together to mark the important occasion. The program began with the ceremonial lamp lighting. The Guests for the day were Sadhvi Pragya Bharti ji , Director of SAM and Swami Vrajendra Nandan Das ji, National Communication Director of ISKCON and Vice President – ISKCON, East of Kailash. Respected Principal ma’am, Dr Ratna Chakravarty felicitated the esteemed guests with a token of gratitude and appreciation. An award ceremony was held to felicitate the worthy efforts of our honourable leader. Adding to success saga, our Principal ma’am was awarded with “Inspiring Educators of NCR Award” by Great Rocksport Pvt Ltd, “Principal Par Excellence Award” by IIHM and “4th Doctor Satya Jagid Smriti Samman“ by Indian Association of Mass Communication in collaboration with Panchtatva-the Environment Society of Hindu College, Delhi University. Ms Manju Bhatia, our facilitator was also felicitated with the award by IIHM. The teachers of our school were also felicitated for the splendid efforts put in for the excellence in academics by the students of Grades X and XII in the form scoring a perfect 100 in the sessions 2017-18 and 2018-19. Sadhvi Pragya Bhartiji motivated the students to accept their mistakes and get inspired by their teachers. Our honourable Principal ma’am enlightened the young minds for valuing the wonderful efforts made by their hard-working teachers for their growth and development. The Maxfortians presented scintillating music, dance and theater presentations. In the afternoon, the students of Grade XII arranged a colourful programme for their teachers. Later the school management organised a sumptuous lunch for the teachers. Eventually, it turned out to be a spectacular day full of emotions, memories and motivation for the times to come.
