Maxfort School Rohini perseveres to provide new-career opportunities to the students. Honourable Principal ma’am, Dr. Ratna Chakravarty’s vision and counselling expertise aids the learners for the best possible future prospects. The school collaborated with VMC and conducted a Career counselling workshop for students of class XII on 31 July 2024 to orient them about New Age Career Avenues. The resource person was Mr. Vaibhav Sharma. It was a guidance session for the students to apprise them about various unconventional and off beat career options which are creating a buzz in the corporate world.
The one-hour session, helped them get acquainted to the different wow-careers ranging from Avionics to Open Source-Open Standard, from Mechatronics to Internet of Things (IOT), from Cyber Law to Public Policy, from Auto Management to Entrepreneurship, from Interaction Design to VFX Animation, the list was huge, along with real life examples and case studies.
Various other career options like Media Lawyer who specialises in media and entertainment industry, User Interface/ User Experience designer were also discussed with students wherein they can get associated with ecommerce website like Myntra, amazon etc.
Overall it was an enriching session updating students about futuristic career and job options.
