Triumph in Innovation: MAXFORT SCHOOL Shines at State Level Science Exhibition

“Science is the great adventure of the human mind, and nothing is more rewarding than exploring the unknown.”

In a celebration of ingenuity and scientific expertise, Maxfort School, Rohini emerged triumphant at the recent State Level Science Exhibition held on Friday, 2 February 2024. The victory proclaimed the school’s commitment to foster a culture of experiential learning, innovation and critical thinking amongst the students. The competition which brought together the brightest young minds from across the state, showcased a diverse array of projects, experiments and scientific explorations. It was a proud moment for us as the school secured the first position leaving an indelible mark on the landscape of scientific achievement.

This superlative achievement is the testimony of the  vision of our praiseworthy leader, honourable Principal ma’am, Dr. Ratna Chakravarty, an incredible and devoted educationist profoundly known as a subject expert in the world of education. Our school has secured first position in the DOE State Level Science Exhibition under the Sub Theme- Computational Thinking and qualified for nationals. Now Maxfort School, Rohini will represent Delhi on the national level.  The incredible achievers  are Shaurya Gupta and Kanak Bansal of Class IX. This is the outcome of countless hours of hardwork and dedication of the entire Science Department  and the guide teacher is Ms. Pooja Bansal.

The journey started from Zonals where we stood first and then at Central level we stood second. Finally at state level we secured first position under the SUB theme- computational thinking. The project, (GIFT- Green Innovative and Futuristic Technical city), focuses on the pollution caused by burning paraali and the death of mine workers due to poisonous gases. Through extensive research, experimentation and analysis, we were able to develop a solution that addresses a real-world problem. Our project not only impressed the judges but also demonstrated the potential to make a positive impact on society.

This spectacular victory will certainly serve as an inspiration for Maxfortians to pursue a scientific approach towards solving the real-time problems and realise the dream of a better and secure environment.
