“Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life—think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let the
brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other
idea alone. This is the way to success.” Swami Vivekananda
Maxfort School, Rohini perseveres to groom the holistic personalities of the students with a
positive outlook and strong moral demeanour. To imbibe the same with more precision in the
young learners, the school organised a special assembly on the teachings of Swami Vivekananda on
Thursday, 26 September 2024.
The assembly was organised for Classes VIII to XII. The school witnessed the presence of the
esteemed guests from a national level organisation Bharat Vikas Parishad in this celebration of
ideals and principles. Swami Vivekananda, a visionary philosopher and disciple of Swami
Ramakrishna Paramhans, championed the ideals of self-realisation, universal brotherhood, and
service to humanity. Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) is an organisation committed to promote
development and growth of India, in all fields of human endeavour – cultural, social, academic,
moral, national, and spiritual culminating in Swasth-Samarth-Sanskarit Bharat i.e. physically,
economically, and morally strong India. The organisation is motivated and guided by the ideals and
teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
The day began with a serene Saraswati vandana that added hues of virtuosity in the ambience.
Later respected Principal ma’am, Dr. Ratna Chakravarty felicitated the eminent guests with a token
of respect and appreciation. This was followed by a motivational group song performance by the
school choir. Afterwards felicitation ceremony was organised wherein revered Principal ma’am,
Headmistress ma’am, teachers and students were felicitated for their incredible efforts by the
galaxy of dignitaries. Eventually it turned out as an inspirational time as the aura of swami
Vivekananda rekindled everyone’s energy to follow a righteous path, work hard for their dreams
and achieve new milestones.
