Teacher’s Day

Teachers play a major role in making their students responsible citizens of tomorrow. Celebrating the true spirit of respect towards the teachers, Maxfort School Rohini organised a special assembly on Thursday, 5 September 2024 to honour the contributions of teachers in the nation-building.
The special assembly was presented by Class XII. From heartfelt speeches and creative performances to thoughtful tokens of appreciation, the students showcased their gratitude for their teachers in the most wonderful ways. It was a day filled with joy, laughter, and admiration for the educators who inspire us every day. The students put together an impressive array of performances, including a melodious music presentation and a vibrant and energetic dance performance. The young artists presented an enriching skit from the life of Swami Ramkrishna Paramhans and Swami Vivekananda that showcased how teachers not only impart knowledge but also provide life lessons.The special day also included a heartwarming poem recitation, highlighting the noble profession of teaching and the impact of educators on society.
Respected Principal ma’am, Dr Ratna Chakravarty, addressing the entire school, urged students to maintain the bequest of respecting teachers and lauded the entire staff for their exemplary contribution to the school’s phenomenal success. She also appreciated the sincerest efforts of the teachers in playing a catalytic role in the holistic development of every student.
To add a special touch to the event, felicitation ceremony was organised to felicitate incredible achievements of honourable Principal ma’am, facilitators and students. Revered Principal ma’am has made the school proud by her superlative achievements. Respected ma’am was felicitated with “Ma Jijabai Shikshak Samman” by Forum of Public Schools (FPS) in collaboration with ‘Vishwaroop Education’ to recognise her sincere efforts as a Principal. The prestigious award was given by Member of Parliament, Ms. Kamaljeet Singh Sehrawat. Honourable ma’am also received “Leadership Award” in 9th Global Education and Skill Summit 2024. The facilitators and the students were also awarded for their meritorious achievements. The felicitation ceremony also honoured the teachers and the students who secured perfect score of 100 marks in the CBSE board examination for the session 2023-24.The assembly concluded with formal vote of thanks, expressing gratitude on behalf of the student body for the efforts teachers put into nurturing students’ growth and success. The national anthem was sung by all to end the event on a solemn and respectful note.
The celebration also had a few games conducted for teachers like Musical Chair, to make the child within come alive. At the end, a sumptuous lunch for the teachers
was organised by the school management. Thus, the entire day paved a new hope for teachers to rejoice the journey as an educator. The Teacher’s Day celebration was a huge success and it left the teachers feeling appreciated and inspired. It was a heartfelt and memorable event, emphasising the vital role that teachers play in the development of students and society at large.
