On the eve of 71st Republic Day, the whole Maxfort Family came together to celebrate the unique culture and heritage of one nation, one vision and one incredible India on Friday, 24 January 2020 in the school premises. All the Maxfortians from Grade Pre-school to Grade V were excited to get in on the act, saluted the great nation and presented special morning assemblies filled with patriotic fervor and independence. The toddlers of Pre-school and Pre-primary danced on the patriotic song – ‘I love my India’ showing their love and pride to be Indians. Different mesmerizing presentations were showcased by the students of Grade V that include the patriotic song by the school choir group, a wonderful skit presentation depicting the duties of being a responsible citizen and splendid dance followed by a pledge to stand united, follow the laws and respect the rights enshrined in the Constitution. The event was graced by our respected Principal ma’am, Dr. Ratna Chakravarty who hoisted the National Flag to honour the nation.
The students of Grade IX also paid their respect to the people who were behind the formation of our constitution and presented a captivating assembly. The enthusiasm and commitment towards the promotion of ‘Khadi ‘ was well performed through a skit which stressed on promoting the use of ‘Khadi’ and also put forth plethora of events which were behind this revolutionary step. The choir group also enchanted the audience with their soulful performance.
The celebration concluded with a promise to be united and lead the country to new heights and goals of success.
