Good luck is the product of daily actions and a good amount of perseverance. We should remain focused and success will follow. The Good Luck Ceremony of Class XII Batch 2024-25 was held with great enthusiasm and reverence on Saturday, 25 January 2025 at Maxfort School, Rohini. This significant event served as a heartfelt farewell to the outgoing students while also celebrating their school journey. Under the able guidance and support of our respected Principal ma’am, Dr. Ratna Chakravarty, the event was conducted smoothly, leaving a lasting impression on all present.
The special guests for the day were twelthies clad in their best attires and their parents. The ceremony commenced with the warm welcome of parents and students, creating an atmosphere filled with emotions and thankfulness. This was followed by the auspicious lamp-lighting ceremony amidst the chanting of Vedic mantras, symbolising the dispelling of darkness and the ushering of wisdom and knowledge. A soulful prayer song was sung by the school choir, invoking blessings for the students stepping into a new phase of life. Thereafter a mesmerising welcome dance was performed, setting a graceful tone for the event.
Our esteemed Principal ma’am, delivered an inspiring speech, emphasising on the importance of gratitude, perseverance, discipline, and lifelong learning. She extended her best wishes to the outgoing batch for AISSCE Board Examination and the future ahead. As a token of remembrance, mementoes were presented to the outgoing students, acknowledging their dedication and voyage in Maxfort School, Rohini. The farewell song sung by the students beautifully captured the emotions of nostalgia and hope for a new beginning outside the school premises.
The Head Boy, Garv Arora, shared cherished memories and lessons learned during the years spent in the alma-mater through a thought provoking speech. This was followed by a vibrant and energetic dance performance, adding a celebratory touch to the occasion. The Head Girl, Siya Bansal, then delivered an emotional speech, expressing appreciation for unwavering support and guidance and bidding a fond farewell to the institution. One last time the senior most students sung the school song, reinforcing the values and ethos instilled in the students. A formal vote of thanks was presented, acknowledging the efforts of everyone who contributed to making the event a memorable one.
The Good Luck Ceremony was a beautiful blend of emotions, nostalgia, and hope. It provided a fitting farewell to the outgoing batch, instilling confidence in them as they step into new beginnings. The event came to an end with the rendition national anthem celebrating the essence of 76th Republic Day. Culminating the proceedings, refreshments were served to the parents and the students. Eventually, the Good Luck Ceremony ended on an emotional note, leaving the students with a sense of belonging and gratitude towards their second home, Maxfort School, Rohini.
