This remarkable journey of the Inter-School event Ecstasy began in 2014 under the visionary guidance and expert acumen of our esteemed Principal, Dr. Ratna Chakravarty. Our honourable Chief Guest for this splendid occasion was Rear Admiral KS Noor, a top-ranking educational officer of the Indian Navy with an incredible contribution in the field of education. The inauguration ceremony was a resounding success, featuring the participation of 30 distinguished schools in this ultimate showcase of artistry and inventiveness. The ceremony commenced with a serene and uplifting Maa Durga dance presentation. It was followed by the propitious lamp-lighting ritual, marking a meaningful and auspicious beginning. Our esteemed Principal ma’am warmly welcomed the revered Chief Guest, respected dignitaries, the honorourable Principals of the participating schools, guide teachers, participants, and parents. She inspired the contestants with her encouraging words, urging them to give their best and savour the joy of their performances. She elaborated that as per NEP 2020, the learners should be given all opportunities to reinforce their talents through mega scale presentations like Ecstasy. The students are benefited in mutli-farious manners like they become hard working, purpose-driven, far sighted, develop never give up attitude, learn to manage work life balance and become solution focused and not problem focused. Eventually this will help us to realise the dream of a new India i.e. Viksit Bharat. Our eminent Chief Guest Rear Admiral KS Noor inspired the students to remain connected to their culture, follow the virtue of humility, avoid all distractions and strive hard with a single-minded to devotion to attain their dreams. Maxfortians offered a tribute to our mighty land through a rich and vibrant dance performance-“Incredible India”, encompassing various states of India with their dance delights.
The glorious event featured a wide-range of highly engaging and innovative categories: For Classes I-II Khilkhilati Duniya; for Classes III-IV Aspiring Journalist; for Classes V-VI Echoes of tradition ; for Classes VII-VIII Nritya Katha; for Classes IX-X Divine Melodies; and for Classes XI-XII (Science Stream) Scientific Sparks; (Commerce Stream) Econopolis; and (Humanities Stream) Knowledge Nexus.
The magnificent event concluded with the felicitation ceremony of the various event category achievers and the formal vote of thanks. The vibrant day pervaded the air with a fountain of optimism and gaiety. It also painted the canvas of perfection with the appreciable talent shown by the participants in various events. Eventually, this exuberant panache replenished everyone with energy, enthusiasm and elation for many more victorious feats.
