Janmashtami, popularly known as Krishna Janmashtami is the blessed occasion when Lord Krishna, the eighth incarnation of the Lord Vishnu. Maxfort School, Rohini, celebrated the essence of this divine festivity on Tuesday, 27 August 2024 with all grandeur and elation.
The special assembly was organised by Class IX. Wherever there is Krishna, the master of all mystics, there will also certainly be opulence, victory, extraordinary power and morality. Honourable Principal ma’am Dr. Ratna Chakravarty set the assembly in motion by worshiping Lord Krishna and offering prayer to bring peace, happiness and prosperity in our lives.
A spectacular skit presenting Sri Krishna’s and Sudama friendship was highly inspirational. The school choir sang the melodies of Krishna birth and auspiciousness with the Krishna bhajans. group filled us with melody of love and evoked our faith in our lord by enchanted songs. Thought provoking poem and speech elucidated on the need of implementation of Krishna’s teachings in the contemporary world relating his sayings with our daily lives. A superlative dance presentation mesmerised everyone and literally transferred in the street of Vrindavan with the serene dance delight. Eventually, the ambience was replenished with positivity, joy and elation with the happiness to welcome Lord Krishna, the emblem of wisdom, compassion and splendour.
