Christmas assembly by Grade IX students

Christmas waves a magic wand over the world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful.

On December 20, 2022, there was a special assembly at Maxfort School, Rohini. It was put on by the grade 9 students, and the sound of bells and carols in the wind added to the holiday spirit.

The students presented an array of interesting programs. The event commenced with a prayer invoking the blessings of the Lord. It was followed by a series of presentations, like poetic expression and speeches. The students showcased the spirit of the festival through a mesmerising dance performance. The school echoed with Christmas carols and holy hymns sung melodiously by the school choir, ushering in the festive season. The children presented a delightful skit that reflected the power of love and benevolence to transform a person.

The assembly concluded with the National Anthem, which all the students and teachers sang with honour and pride!

The message of the assembly was loud and clear: “Come, let us embrace the spirit of Christmas by bringing joy and happiness into someone’s life.” The students showcased the spirit of the festival through a mesmerising dance performance. The school echoed with Christmas carols and hymns sung melodiously by the school choir, ushering in the festive season. The children presented a delightful skit, “The Bishop’s Candlesticks,” which reflected the power of love and benevolence to transform a criminal into a righteous human being. Our principal, ma’am, motivated the students to live their lives to the fullest. She inspired the gathering to focus on their goals and plan for them judiciously to taste success. She also told the children about sharing and caring, as well as the pleasure and pride of spreading peace, true to the spirit of the celebration. This enlightening speech was clearly instrumental in shaping the personalities of the students in a constructive way.
