“The environment is where we all meet; where we all have a mutual interest; it is one thing all of us share.”
– Lady Bird Johnson
On the occasion of ‘World Environment Day, at ‘Maxfort School, Rohini, a plethora of activities was conducted during online classes of Grades I-V on Friday, 5 June 2020 with an aim to develop love for the Green Environment and to save it. A hub of talent could be witnessed through interesting videos and beautiful pictures sent by the students. The activity ‘Gardening is my Passion’ organised for the students of Grade III is an exemplary example of the brilliant work of the little gardeners who sowed tomato, fenugreek and coriander seeds in the small waste pots. Everyone was overwhelmed while promising to grow more plants. The students of Grade IV were active participants of ‘Poster making activity’ as they took the pledge to save the environment. The little Maxfortians of Grades I and II showcased the laughing Earth with huge and attractive trees as they stressed upon the need of keeping the Earth Green. The students of Grade V were instructed to prepare relevant posters of ‘Save Environment’ depicting to save the motherland from global warming and different issues emerging out of environmental pollution. The online activity was a huge success as all the Maxfortians were suffused with great fervour and energy to spread the important message of taking care of the environment.
