‘The Art of Well Being – Opening doors to Creativity’

Well-being is a positive outcome that is meaningful for people and for many sectors of society because it tells us that how people perceive their lives. Good living conditions are fundamental to one’s well-being.

 

To promote a better understanding of positive emotions and resilience, an enlightening session was organized by Maxfort School Rohini under the able guidance of our honourable Principal Ma’am, Dr. Ratna Chakravarty to inculcate optimism, self-development and different aspects of well-being for the facilitators, in three consecutive slots on 18 September 2021 by the school counselors Ms. Deepshikha Chhabra and Ms. Tanya Jain. It included diverse and creative activities to provide a better understanding of realizing one’s achievements and abilities through a balanced inner self. It’s an approach to help teachers build an understanding of the importance of maintaining a balance between the physical and emotional health thereby, inspiring others.

 

There was an emphasis on productive and qualitative output. This helped in promoting a sound contribution towards oneself as well as to the community. The session was made more interactive and meaningful through related videos that provided a deep introspection of the self.

 

The overall aim was to create a system that provides the most joyful, creative and vibrant environment and the most satisfactory experience for its teachers. And, nothing is impossible when we decide to excel and also help each other in excelling by collective efforts.

The participants were encouraged to express themselves with respect to their views on the outcomes of various activities such as Being creative with 30 circles, Describing oneself as a Teacher in 6 words, Views on what creates mental anxiety were conducted under simulated conditions. The entire session proved to be informative and constructive in bringing a constructive growth in one’s life.
