Special Assembly On  Gandhi Jayanti

 The Gandhi Jayanti Assembly at Maxfort School, Rohini, was a heartfelt tribute to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, commemorating his 155th birth anniversary. The assembly was presented by Class IX students on October 1, 2024, under the esteemed guidance of respected Principal ma’am Dr. Ratna Chakravarty.It aimed to provide a deeper understanding of Gandhiji’s life and inspire students with his vision of a ‘Swachh Bharat,’ seamlessly integrating the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign through various presentations.

The assembly began with a profound thought on the importance of non-violence, one of Gandhiji’s core principles. The school choir’s soulful performance filled the atmosphere with a sense of patriotism and deep respect for Bapu.

The event featured inspiring speeches, captivating poem recitations, and a thought-provoking monologue that kept the audience engaged throughout. These presentations offered valuable insights into India’s rich cultural heritage and values, highlighting their relevance in today’s world.

The Gandhi Jayanti assembly was a resounding success, instilling a sense of pride in India’s heritage and emphasizing the timeless importance of Mahatma Gandhi’s teachings. It not only educated the students about his life but also encouraged them to embody his values in their daily lives.The students and the staff initiated to take the Swachhata Pledge, reaffirming their dedication to this important mission of cleanliness.

The occasion was further elevated by a special felicitation ceremony, where our esteemed Principal ma’am  was honored with the prestigious FAB Principal Award. This was followed by the recognition of several teachers who were awarded the FAB Teacher Award, adding an extra layer of pride and celebration to the event.

The Gandhi Jayanti assembly at Maxfort School was a meaningful tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, successfully inspiring students to uphold his principles of non-violence, unity, and service. Through these events, students were encouraged to apply Gandhiji’s teachings in their lives, fostering a sense of responsibility towards creating a better, cleaner India.
