Republic Day and the Basant Panchami Assembly by Grades IX, X, and XI

“Freedom in the mind,  strength in the words, pureness in our blood, pride in our souls, zeal in our hearts. Let’s salute our India on Republic Day.”

On the occasion of the 74th Republic Day and to mark the beginning of the spring season, a special assembly was held in Maxfort School Rohini on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. It was presented by Class IX students, under the worthy guidance of respected Principal ma’am, Dr Ratna Chakravarty.

The celebration started with the hoisting of the national flag by the respected principal, ma’am. Thereafter honourable ma’am was escorted to the assembly venue by the Bag Piper band.

The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity. The assembly commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Respected Principal Ma’am performed Saraswati Puja to mark the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami. The melodious choir group presented a medley of patriotic songs. Education was presented by the students.  The revered principal, ma’am, applauded the performance of the students and urged them to do their best and always feel proud of being Indians. She also mentioned that the students are global citizens who uphold the rich traditions of our culture. They are the ambassadors who spread the richness, thereby growing and developing an integrated personality. She urged them to become future citizens, thereby contributing to the development of the country as a whole and promoting world peace. She also highlighted the significance of Basant Panchami by stating that Ma Saraswati is the goddess of knowledge and wisdom, and she encouraged the young Maxfortians to value and cherish the significance of both days.

The array of activities provided a unique and experiential experience for the young Maxfortians, thereby leading to their holistic development.
