An educational visit to “Traffic Training Park” at Punjabi Bagh was organised for the students of PS-Grade II on Saturday, February 4, 2023. The aim was to acquaint the students with the basic road safety rules with a live display and to reinforce what was taught in the classroom. A warm welcome was extended by an instructor who guided the students throughout. The students were made aware of the different types of road signs and signals and the necessity to follow the traffic signals. All the students were excited to see the fabricated pedestrian pathways, signboards, traffic lights, a foot-over bridge, etc. They also got an opportunity to sit in the train, which they thoroughly enjoyed. There was an interactive session at the end, wherein children were asked to remember the message of road safety and the importance of safety rules. The visit was not only educational but also fun-filled. The students found it beneficial as well as interesting.
