ORIENTATION PROGRAMME for PRE-SCHOOL

The commencement of the new and refreshing academic year 2019-20 for cute toddlers of Pre-school was held on Saturday, 6 April 2019 with the spectacular ‘Orientation Programme’ at the school premises. An exuberant welcome was extended to all the new valuable members of the Maxfort Family i.e. the toddlers of Pre-school and their parents. The objective is to create the foundation for positive relationships between parents and facilitators. The guest of honour for the day was Ms. Rashmi S. Chari (Member ERIC of Ministry of HRD, Government of India) – an eminent educationist, speaker and enricher. The propitious day began with the lighting of auspicious lamp and was followed by a melodious ‘Welcome Song’.The talented students added vibrancy to the event with their spiritual dance as ‘Ganesh Vandana’. Our honourable Principal Ma’am Dr. RatnaChakravarty addressed the parents and laid stress on effective communication between the facilitators and parents. In her visionary outlook for parents, she highlighted the importance of spending quality time with the children. She also gave the assurance with her words of motivation and determinant perception for Maxfort. The information on ‘Thematic Approach to Learning’ and ‘Technology Integration in Curriculum’ was provided by the facilitators, Ms. Anshoo Seth and Ms. Vardha Gupta. The respected guest of honour, Ms. Rashmi S. Chari oriented the new parents about child’s nutrition, habit formation and safety and emphasizedon parenting skills.The school counselors were introduced to the parents for the close assessment and professional assistance for effective transition. The ‘Vote of Thanks’ was proposed by Ms. Preeti Malikand she expressed her gratitude.
The parent – facilitator session was initiated. All the parents were escorted to their children’s new classrooms to familiarize with the environment.
Overall, it was an effective and fruitful session for the betterment of the new learners, parents and facilitators as well as a sparkling beginning for a promising future ahead.
