An ‘Orientation Program’ was organized on Saturday, April 6, 2024, for the new parents of preschool and pre-primary students. The aim was to familiarize parents as ‘partners in progress’.
The students’ spiritual dance performance, “Ganesh Vandana,” set the mood for the ceremonial lighting of the lamp.
Adding to the charm of the occasion, the students enthralled everyone with a delightful song presentation, adding to the occasion’s charm. The students’ skit, which illustrated ways to ease toddlers’ transition from home to school, was a key highlight of the orientation. This phase showcased a range of emotions, including excitement, nervousness, and curiosity.
Furthermore, the role of effective communication between educators and parents was emphasized, along with the significance of early childhood education in shaping a child’s future. The focus was also on explaining the thematic approach and domains to parents and offering valuable parenting tips. Those tips stressed the importance of always listening to students, encouraging open dialogue, and addressing their concerns.
Overall, the event provided essential information and resources, equipping parents to prepare their children for a fulfilling educational experience at Maxfort.
