Gratitude Assembly by Grade XII

“Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.”

-Melody Beattie

Gratitude is the greatest virtue. It paves a strong foundation for a sustained life. The last week of the month of December 2022 ended on a highly emotional note at Maxfort School, Rohini, as classes XII A, B, C, and D presented gratitude assemblies to their school from Monday, 26 December 2022, to Thursday, 29 December 2022, respectively. It was really awe-inspiring to comprehend the feelings of the board-appearing batch and travel down memory lane through their experiences.

Spreading joy and pride, the senior-most students of the school presented Thanksgiving gifts to their alma mater, their second home, the principal, the teachers, and the support staff. The roller coaster ride covering 14 years of schooling was presented through speeches, music, dance, and poetry. The students were very thankful to our principal for helping to shape their personalities and getting them ready for life and all of its challenges when they left the school.

The principal, ma’am, enlightened the students with her supreme wisdom. She elaborated that it is important to show gratitude in life. Gratitude is the catalyst for success and happiness. She congratulated the students for presenting such wonderful gratitude assemblies. She also acknowledged the work of the School Cabinet for the smooth functioning of various school events. At the end, she encouraged the students to focus and prepare well for their board exams.

The gratitude assemblies were a real taste of glory for the school for upscaling the transition batch, who will move into the outer world instilled with the pre-requisite skills to attain success in their desired fields of action. It turned out to be a captivating time showing the power of gratitude with mixed emotions of nostalgia and happiness to scale new heights with our dear twelfth grade.
