Gratitude Assembly

Thankfulness is the beginning of gratitude. Gratitude is the completion of thankfulness. Both of these virtues together pave the way for a peaceful and  progressive life.

Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow. It is the art of appreciation and the skill of expressing regard. It is the most important virtue for a sustained life. The winter afternoons of 23 December 2024, 26 December 2024 and 20 January 2025 at Maxfort School, Rohini were immersed with the feeling of gratitude as all sections of Class XII presented Gratitude Assemblies in the school premises.

Walking down the memory lane, the senior most Maxfortians presented their voyage in the school in the most elated manner. The students thanked honourable Principal ma’am Dr. Ratna Chakravarty, revered Headmistress ma’am, Facilitators and all concerned who groomed them in this pivotal school voyage.

The assemblies commenced with remembering the Almighty that was followed by the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony. The jubilant Maxfortians presented token of love, appreciation and gratitude to honourable Principal ma’am and Headmistress ma’am. Thereafter followed expressive speeches by the students that were thoughtful and covered the entire journey in the corridors of school in few words. The soulful musical performances made everyone emotional. The twelthies also presented poems in front of their esteemed audience elaborating their thoughts in the lyrical manner. The delightful and foot tapping dance performances won the heart of one and all and were enough to understand the nostalgia related to school through the language of dance.

Respected Principal ma’am in her most inspirational and motivational words appreciated the incredible efforts of the students. The school leader also blessed the students for their upcoming AISSCE Board Examination and the future ahead.

Eventually the warm and wonderful saga of recollection of school memories and the wholehearted gratitude expressed by the Class XII students rekindled the worthy assemblage with the faith in practicing gratitude that is the healthiest of all human emotions. It culminated with the determination that the more we express gratitude for what we have, the more likely we will have even more to express gratitude for.
