Educational Excursion to Jim Corbett National Park, Class-XII

“The best education you will ever get is by travelling. Nothing teaches you more than exploring the world and accumulating experiences.”

Educational excursion is an innovative type of learning. It promotes experiential learning, the prime goal of NEP 2020. Embarking on a thrilling journey into the wilderness, a group of 87 students of Class XII with 8 teachers set off on an unforgettable adventure to Jim Corbett  National Park from 30 May 2023 to 1 June 2023. The educational excursion was organised by EduXperiential that provided true camping experience to all. Located deep in the heart of nature, this camp provided an immersive experience where students had the opportunity to explore the beauty of the natural world, develop new skills, and forge lasting friendships.

Day 1: Arrival and Orientation

Excitement filled the air as the students arrived at the Camp, greeted by the friendly staff who would guide them throughout their stay. The students gathered for an orientation session, where they learned about the camp’s rules and safety guidelines. They were also introduced to various activities like Flag Making and Tic Tac Toe. The evening ended well with healthy snacks, Team-Building Activities and musical performance.

As they explored the forest, the students encountered breath taking landscapes and various wildlife, including colorful birds, deers and peacocks. The hike not only tested their endurance but also sparked a newfound appreciation for the wonders of nature. The Maxfortians visited the Jim Corbet Museum and explored the history of this wide national park. In the evening they enjoyed swimming for rejuvenation followed by music and dance.
