The Central Vigilance Commission is an apex integrity institution of the country and it endeavors to promote transparency, accountability and integrity in public life with the observance of Vigilance Awareness Week every year to encourage the fight against corruption. Taking a pledge can work as a form of ‘pre-commitment’, a psychological strategy for sticking to goals we may otherwise be tempted to give up. Adhering to the objectives of a pledge, respected Principal ma’am, Dr. Ratna Chakravarty, teachers and students of X and XII took a pledge on 27 October 2020 to understand the pivotal role of an honest personality in life.Purpose of this pledge was to promote probity in public life and to achieve a corruption free society. Corruption is one of those bugs which are making our country hollow from inside. To deal with it effectively, students of classes X and XII were motivated to take
e-Integrity Pledge through visiting the official portal of CBSE to have a technological approach to the government’s initiative.Under the guidance of honourable Principal ma’am, all teachers and students of classes X and XII participated in ‘The Vigilance Awareness Week’. This Vigilance Awareness Week motivated the students to eradicate corruption from the society and prove themselves as true citizens.
