Rashtriya Ekta Diwas or National Unity Day 2020: The day commemorates the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. He played an important role in uniting India. He is also famous as an Iron Man of India and as one of the founding leaders of the Republic of India.
Maxfort School Rohini has always endeavored in shaping the personality of the young learners, thereby generating responsible citizens of the country. Taking the lead forward and as per the CBSE guidelines,the school observed the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel as ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’ (National Unity Day) on 31st Oct 2019. A series of activities were conducted by the school to commemorate the occasion. “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge” was undertaken by all the students of classes I to VIII. . Students of class VIII expressed themselves through Essay writing on the theme of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The young Maxfortians of class IX and X presented Slogan Writing on the same.
The occasion reaffirmed the importance of unity, integrity and security amongst the students and staff and the inherent strength and resilience of our nation to withstand any actual and potential threats which may affect us on the whole.
