The festive season is round the corner and we are enthralled to celebrate the much-awaited festival i.e. Diwali. Monday, 28 October 2024 certainly made everyone ready for the festivities as Maxfort School, Rohini celebrated Diwali with all grandeur and jubilance in the school premises. Class XII organised a special assembly to celebrate the festival of lights.
The day commenced with a prayer to the Almighty, the emblem of a soulful plea for the welfare of all present. It was followed by lighting of the lamp for the propitious beginning. Thereafter the ambience resonated with a vocal delight by our talented choir group.
Siya Bansal, the School Head Girl presented a thoughtful speech elaborating upon the significance of Diwali in the contemporary world. An enriching skit by the young artists emphasised on the usually untold saga of Uttar Ramayana. Harnoor Kaur depicted the significance of igniting joy: The Spirit of Diwali. To continue the radiance and revelry, the students danced on the rhythmic music and lyrics culminating the idea of celebrating Diwali through traditions and triumphs.
At the end, Navya Chanana, the School Vice Head Girl presented the formal vote of thanks extending gratitude to all the collaborators who made the special assembly a thumping success. Eventually, the surroundings were pervaded with happiness and elation to celebrate Diwali with our family and friends and enjoy to the fullest.
