Yoga is like music in many ways. There’s no end to it. The more you practice both; the better human you become.”
Yoga and music allow us to rediscover ourselves. They provide us with health, peace and harmony.
Yoga is a peaceful art that connects us to the divinity with channelizing our energies in the right direction. Yoga and Music have become a global culture with their celebration every year on an international level as International Yoga Day and International Music Day on 21 June. Maxfort School, Rohini celebrated International Music Day and Yoga Day on 21 June 2022. The theme of the 8th International Yoga Day was “Yoga for Humanity” which focuses on “Uniting the world through the power of yoga”.
Maxfort School, Rohini showed mass participation in International Yoga Day and International Music Day. Under the guidance of our respected Principal ma’am Dr. Ratna Chakravarty, enthusiastic Maxfortians participated in International Yoga Day and International Music Day with great pleasure and elation. Yoga and music sessions were organised for the students for maintaining their physical and mental well-being. Honourable Principal ma’am, in her visionary words motivated the students to practice yoga and learn music as both are much-needed in today’s scenario to maintain overall health, reduce stress and stay connected with the divine source of strength i.e., the Almighty.
International Yoga Day pervaded the message to work for humanity and reunite ourselves with yoga. International Music Day also encouraged the young students to learn music of their choice and remain energized. Eventually, it revitalized the soul and being of the whole Maxfort family to remain self-motivated and healthy for the wider goal of optimism and insightful growth and development.
