Maxfort School, Rohini perseveres for the holisitic development of the students grooming all-rounders with skill-development and the opportunities of experiential learning. With great enthusiasm, the school organised the Annual Presentation Max Celestia: New Era of Women Empowerment on Saturday, 14 December 2024 in the school premises. The charismatic presenters were the students of Grade IX and XI.
The Chief Guest for the day was Dr. Anju Mehrotra, a visionary educationist, a prolific speaker and Director, Kalka Group of Institutions. The special guests for the day were the parents, the pivotal contributors in the growth and development of the Maxfortians. The event commenced with a warm welcome extended to the audience by the comperes.
The ceremonial lighting of the lamp was performed by the dignitaries, including the eminent Chief Guest, honourable Principal and other esteemed guests. The event moved into a captivating realm with a mesmerising prayer dance, Ardhnarishvar. The performance beautifully depicted the balance between masculinity and femininity, a tribute to the harmony that drives societal progress. As a gesture of gratitude, mementos were presented to the revered Chief Guest, acknowledging her support and contribution to the event.
The honourable Principal ma’am, Dr. Ratna Chakravarty, delivered a thought-provoking speech, highlighting the importance of empowering women and the role of education in fostering equality. She focused that the annual events are the perfect platform to showcase the talent of students. It is not just a gathering-it is a celebration of accomplishment, creativity and unity. Thereby it helps the students to rise to their fullest potential. Her words inspired both the students and the audience to embrace and promote the theme.
The event then transitioned to Shakti, a musical presentation that celebrated the power and essence of women synonymous with strength itself. The melodious compositions and poignant lyrics left the audience engrossed.
The Chief Guest addressed the gathering with an impactful speech, reflecting on the advancements in women’s empowerment and the journey that still lies ahead. Her words were both enlightening and motivational.Yet another enthralling performance was the The Sports Fiesta segment which showcased the significance of yoga and the achievements of women in sports through a dynamic and energetic presentation.
Turning the lead towards a dance delight, the participants presented a Fusion Dance Performance with a perfect blend of classical and western dance styles. It elated the audience and made everyone tap their feet with beats of the dance moves.
The ultimate beauty of the day was the theaterama, Rani Laxmibai that covered the life of the great warrior queen. It certainly inspired everyone to take inspiration from the fearless epitome of courage, Rani Laxmibai and move ahead to attain their goals without any fear.
At the end, the grand finale encompassed the various hues of the eventful day, with all the participants centre stage who were rewarded for their exemplary work with a thunderous round of applause. The spectacular annual presentation culminated with the vote of thanks presented by Aarav Kalra, Vice Head Boy of the school. Max Celestia – New Era of Women Empowerment was a resounding success, it not only celebrated the achievements of women but also inspired a collective commitment to a more inclusive and equitable society.
