Career guidance is an exceptional channel to streamline the thought process of the students on the path of making righteous choices. Maxfort School, Rohini organised a comprehensive Career Guidance Session for Class XI and XII students on Thursday, 24 October 2024. The objective was to equip the students with the necessary tools for a successful future. The session was graced by the presence of Mr. Jitin Chawla, a renowned career counsellor and an education expert. It provided the students with valuable insights into various career options, entrance exams, and strategies for success in today’s competitive landscape.
This initiative was guided under the visionary leadership of honourable Principal ma’am,
Dr. Ratna Chakravarty, reflecting her foresight in ensuring that students are equipped with the knowledge and resources to make informed decisions about their future. By organising such expert-led sessions, she continues to inspire and support students in identifying their passions and pursuing their career aspirations with confidence. To begin with, revered Principal ma’am presented a planter to our dignified guest to express gratitude and appreciation on behalf of the school community.
Mr. Chawla, imparted invaluable acumen into the world of careers. He began by emphasising the importance of self-discovery and understanding one’s passions, strengths, and weaknesses. The session was interactive, engaging students with thought-provoking discussions and practical exercises.
Our eminent Resource Person also shed light on various career options, highlighting emerging trends and industries. He provided much-needed tips on resume building, interview preparation, and effective communication. Additionally, he introduced students to the SATHEE portal, a pivotal resource launched by the Ministry of Education as an initiative in association with IIT Kanpur to provide free guidance for competitive exams.
To further assist students in their career exploration, a compiled list of stream-wise career paths was given to the students:

Eventually, it turned out to be an enriching learning experience for the students. Through such promising career guidance sessions, the school aims to equip our students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to achieve their full potential and embark on successful careers.
