A teacher is a candle who spends the whole life lighting up the lives of the students. Teachers plant the seeds of knowledge, sprinkle them with love and patiently nurture their growth to produce tomorrow’s dreams. With the perspective of acknowledging the teachers’ contributions and celebrating the birth anniversary of the great scholar and eminent educationist, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the ‘Teacher’s Day’ celebration was held on Monday, 5 September 2022 with great zest and zeal. It was just the perfect way to pay tribute to India’s former President, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan who was a distinguished academician and a great mentor. Special morning assemblies were presented by the students of Grade V, VII and XII. Maxfortians’ scintillating music, stupendous dance and skit presentations captured the memories of this sparkling day in the hearts of facilitators and overjoyed the joyous programme arranged especially for them to the fullest. Respected Principal Ma’am, Dr Ratna Chakravarty enlightened the young minds for valuing the marvelous efforts made by their dedicated facilitators for their growth and development. Felicitation ceremony was organized for the Facilitators of XII and X whose students scored 100 marks in CBSE Board Examination. The students who scored 100 marks in various subjects were also appreciated with certificates for their efforts. Special achiever, Murli of Class XI was also felicitated for his achievement of securing first position in World Robotics Championship in Drone Challenge Category. Rejuvenating activities for the Facilitators were organized in the form of music, dance and games. At the end, lunch was organized by the school management as a gesture of gratitude. On the whole, it turned out to be a spectacular day full of emotions, expressions and motivation for a bright future ahead.
