Special Assembly and Activities conducted on occasion of Janamashtami

“Trust His words,
Trust His deeds,
Trust His decisions,
Trust His vision,
Trust Shri Krishna once,
He entrusts Himself forever.”

‘Janmashtami’, the born day of Lord Krishna, is celebrated all over India with many festivities by fasting and praying to him. With the perspective of rejoicing in the festive mood and showcasing love for ‘Kanhaji’, a joyous celebration was organized by the talented and adept Maxfortians of Grades IV, VI and XI on Friday, 27 August 2021 virtually in the form of special morning assemblies. Spectacular performances including the bhajans added religious fervor to the auspicious day. The students presented a fabulous skit as a part of Janmashtami celebration which infused the whole atmosphere with a ‘divine aura’. The bright and joyful faces illuminated the ambience with the spirit of love, devotion and faith. Dressed in attires of ‘Krishna’ and ‘Gopis’, the students spread the message of ancient puranas and our traditional customs through pranks of ‘Makhan Chor’ Lord Krishna. Our honourable Principal Ma’am, Dr. Ratna Chakravarty, encouraged the students to read ‘Bhagwad Gita’ regularly and admire Shri Krishnaji as a role model in life. The significance of the festival was explained to the students which made them aware that the festival encourages unity and faith in Hindu religion. The awesome presentation was applauded and appreciated by everyone. The entire event was enjoyed by all the present gathering.
