“Mother’s Day is a celebration honouring the mother of the family, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society.”
Of all the bonds we share during our lifetime, the most special one is the one that we have with our mothers! A mother selflessly fulfils all our desires and cares for us till her last breath. “Mother’s Day”, a day especially dedicated to cherish ¬ motherhood was celebrated with great elation at Maxfort School Rohini. On 7 May 2021, a series of activities was organized to honour the most sacrificing and loving souls. The students of Pre-school – Grade VIII participated wholeheartedly in this celebration. The students of Pre-school-Grade V created beautiful Mother’s Day cards, collages using Pic Collage App, ribbon rosette, etc. The students of Grade VI-VIII designed beautiful pieces of jewellery for their wonderful mothers, so as to make them feel special and loved. And what better gifts for them than the ones prepared by their budding artists with their own hands! To continue the spirit of this delightful day a virtual special assembly was organised by the students of Grade VIII. Everyone experienced a power packed programme including a prayer, news update, poetic expressions, an enthralling song presentation, speech presentation with a mesmerizing dance performance. The students shared their feelings about their mother and captured the same through video presentations. The fruitful and honest efforts of the children rejoiced everyone and strengthened the mother-child relationship. It was indeed a great experience and a perfect blend of emotions and feelings.
