Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness. To ensure good health; eat light, breathe deeply, live moderately, cultivate cheerfulness, and maintain an interest in life. Maxfort School Rohini, celebrated World Health Day in the school premises through special assemblies, training session by Heart Care Foundation of India and interactive activities. The theme of this year’s World Health Day is “Our Planet, Our Health”. On Wednesday, 6 April 2022, a training of CPR Test by HCFI was conducted for the students of Class XII. The Heart Care Foundation of India under the visionary outlook of Late Shri Dr. K.K. Aggarwal, is a leading National NGO. HCFI grooms the children with its multifarious activities, webinars and workshops. The session was hosted by Ms. Anjum who listed the ways to save a person in case of an emergency by adopting CPR. This process can help a person revive back before it gets too late. The details of performing this process were shared along with its demonstration. An art competition was also held for the students.
Special assemblies were presented by Classes IV, V and IX on Thursday, 7 April 2022. The students extended their heartfelt gratitude to our honourable Principal ma’am, Dr. Ratna Chakravarty for providing a platform to welcome the students back to school after two long years. Maxfortians presented speech and poem to spread awareness about health. The students thanked respected Principal ma’am for promoting, increasing, and strengthening their faith.
The eventful activities conducted for conveying the message of a healthy life were Class II-yoga assanas, Class III-Healthy Meal Plate, Class IV-Meal Plan, Class V-Slogan Writing, Class VIII-Comic strip on Healthy diet and Class IX and X-Poster Making.
The fruitful celebration of World Health Day inspired the students to adopt a healthy lifestyle for maintaining a healthy living and a serene future.
