Activity : ‘Swachhata – Pakhwada’

“If we will not protect nature, nature will not protect us.”

One good action repeated a million times creates a global change. It’s time to change and to be sensitized about the importance of cleanliness.
Maxfort School, Rohini endeavours to work towards a cleaner and better India recognizing the vital role in spreading cleanliness awareness and implementation. A cleanliness drive for Swachh Bharat – Swachhta Pakhwada was undertaken on Wednesday, 4 September 2019 as an integral part of national celebrations with varied activities. The toddlers of Grade I performed an activity ‘Hand Wash’ related to how to maintain personal hygiene in their classroom, play ground and neighbourhood. They were also inspired to use toilets properly and keep the surroundings clean. The students of Grades III to V came up with beautiful drawings to inspire the audience to maintain cleanliness as they were displayed in an attractive manner. Taking the lead forward and under the guidance of respected Principal ma’am, a rally was organised by the students of Grade VII that included the slogan writing with a motive to spread awareness about the need of cleanliness.
Cleanliness is very important in our life from all the aspects. With an aim to foster healthy habits and sensitize the students with the importance of cleanliness, a skit on “Use of Bins – Green and Blue” was conducted and performed very well by the students. All the students joined hands to spread the message of ‘Clean India, Green India’ with an urgent need to keep the surroundings clean.  It was a great learning experience to spread awareness about cleanliness and to stay physically fit.
